The world says music takes talent, and you either have it or you don't.
They're wrong. As infants we first internalize speech and sound patterns as music and rhythm. You haven't lost this ability; you just haven't practiced it in years. You have the potential to be an incredible musician.
Have you ever wanted to learn guitar? To play piano? Maybe you wish you would have paid more attention in music class in elementary school. Either way, I'm here to get you started on understanding the basics so you can take charge of your own musical journey.
Once a week, I'll be updating this blog with lessons on basic music theory, history, and more. I'm a current music educator with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Music Education, so don't miss out on this chance to cross off something on your bucket list. Personal, private lessons require time and money, which everyone (including myself) is short on these days. Let's work together to do something you've always wanted to do.
Music not only brings us joy, it makes us better people. We've got this. Together, we'll spread a little more kindness around the world through music education. In the meantime, leave a comment and tell what instrument YOU'D like to learn!
See you soon!

I would love to learn any instrument but my dream instrument is piano :)
I wanna learn the guitar! I have played the baritone, flute, piccolo and still sing and read music, but I have always wanted to learn to play the guitar so I can go to open mics and kill it!!
